When the Dakar Rally reaches the desert, vehicles don't climb the dunes, they surf them.
Carlos Sainz (Sr.) demonstrated this in the 2023 edition by turning his Audi into a sort of surfboard to ascend a sand wall.
As for the fabric of the t-shirt, it has not been chemically treated and therefore retains that characteristic "natural raw white," with small specks of color typical of original cotton; this also makes its texture really comfortable and soft.
