Brazilian Grand Prix poster
This Brazilian Grand Prix print pays homage to the passion for Formula 1, the Amazonian country itself, and the iconic Brazilian driver Ayrton Senna—a legendary figure who still lives on in many of our hearts.
The background takes inspiration from the Brazilian flag, serving as the foundation for the entire design. Just like in the national Brazilian emblem, a white band stands out in the center, but instead of “Ordem e Progresso,” it features the phrase "Senna Sempre" (Senna Forever), honoring the genius from São Paulo. This white band transforms into a race track, an idealized version of Senna’s famous "S-curve" at the Interlagos circuit.
As the track winds its way, it divides the blue celestial sphere of the Brazilian emblem. Like in the emblem, a constellation appears, but here, it takes the form of Ayrton Senna celebrating his victory at the epic 1991 Brazilian Grand Prix. Furthermore, the two blue sections on either side of the track represent the circuit’s name origin—Interlagos, meaning “between lakes.”
Heading down the straight of this track is none other than the MP4/6, the car Senna drove during the 1991 season.
We hope that all these details spark in you the same passion we feel for the Brazilian Grand Prix and its storied history—definitely one of our favorites. This piece also is, without a doubt, a tribute to the legendary Ayrton Senna, forever among the greatest drivers in history.
