Lámina Gran Premio de Hungría - Montdebó

Hungarian Grand Prix Poster

€20,95 EUR

The Hungarian Grand Prix held at Hungaroring is becoming one of the classic circuits of the championship, giving us memorable races like those of 2006 and 2021. To honor Magyar culture and its traditional Herend porcelain craftsmanship, the champion's trophy has been a vase for several years. This vase became unfortunately famous in the 2023 edition when an ecstatic Lando Norris shattered Max Verstappen's trophy during the podium celebration.

Therefore, for this poster, we used the porcelain trophy vase as a base but redesigned it with Formula 1 details. Around 10 designs form the pattern on the vase, which features a scene linked to the history of Formula 1 at its center. Can you identify it? Hint: the year 2003.

The rest of the poster features a scene from the beautiful Central European city that hosts the grand prix: Budapest, with the Danube running through it, the Chain Bridge connecting Buda and Pest, and the stunning Hungarian Parliament building, one of the city's symbols.

Finally, the grand prix is announced with Art Nouveau characters as a tribute to Ödön Lechner, known as "the Hungarian Gaudí" for his significant contribution to the Art Nouveau movement in architecture and for adorning the city with remarkable works.
