Dutch Grand Prix Poster
The Dutch Grand Prix print is inspired by the beautiful traditional Delft ceramics, the quintessential Dutch pottery known for its blue designs on a white background.
The print highlights three distinct sections:
The first section features a scene created from the Dutch flag, arranged to resemble the banked Turn 3 of the Zandvoort track. Several Formula 1 cars race through this iconic section, more reminiscent of a roller coaster than a Formula 1 circuit.
The second part of the design consists of a collection of typically Dutch elements: a windmill, several Dutch houses, a Gothic church, and three bicycles placed in different parts of this landscape.
The third and final section is made up of an orange background, a tribute to the national color, which we incorporated into the design with a gradient effect to mimic the smoke flares that Dutch fans often use to cheer on Max Verstappen during races. Finally, the grand prix is announced with characters inspired by the calligraphy of one of the greatest masters of Dutch painting: Vincent Van Gogh.
