Ayrton Senna: the poet of water

"The rain puts the cars on the same level, but not the drivers." This phrase appears in the acclaimed Netflix series Senna(2024) during an intimate conversation between Ayrton and a model with whom, according to the show, he spent the night before the 1984 Monaco Grand Prix.

Whether or not Ayrton Senna himself ever uttered these words, they perfectly encapsulate his philosophy. More than just a statement, they reflect a reality—one that inspired our Rain x Senna sweatshirt.

The design features three of the cars in which Beco delivered his most legendary wet-weather performances—races that are among the most iconic in Formula 1 history: the 1984 Monaco Grand Prix with the Toleman TG184, the 1985 Portuguese Grand Prix with the Lotus 97T, and the 1993 European Grand Prix with the McLaren MP4/8.

Three epic races. Three legendary cars. But one driver: the incomparable Ayrton Senna—who, in the rain, became a poet of the water, writing his finest verses with every lap.
