Smooth Operator: the Chili of Formula 1
The “Smooth Operator” T-shirt, inspired by Carlos Sainz Jr., will teleport you to a parallel universe where Carlitostrades asphalt for grass, becoming a footballer.
On the front, the “Smooth Operator” sponsor stands out, giving the T-shirt its name, set over white and light-blue lines that evoke classic motorsport aesthetics.
The V-neck collar and tricot-knit sleeve trims give the shirt a retro feel, reminiscent of iconic football teams from the 1980s and 1990s.
Another highlight is the crest of the fictional team we created: Willow Grove Football 1 Club, represented by a W on a circular background featuring the team’s three signature colors—white, navy blue, and light blue. Its central position on the chest is another defining hallmark that adds character.
The white and light-blue lines seen on the chest switch prominence (with the white stripe now thicker) and extend to the sleeve trims. In addition, the Willow Grove Football 1 Club crest is repeated at intervals in the center of this white stripe on each sleeve.
Finally, as the finishing touch, above the surname “Sainz” and the number “55” that identify our driver-turned-footballer, appears one of Carlos’s lucky charms: the red chili.
