The 2012 Formula 1 season will be remembered as one of the most exciting seasons of all time and one of the best, if not the best, for Don Fernando Alonso Díaz.

With a car that at some moments of the season was the third or fourth best on the grid, the Asturian genius was able to take the decision of the championship until the last laps of the last race. In fact, in several laps of the last Grand Prix, the Brazilian one, Fernando was virtually world champion.

Undoubtedly that 2012 season, which was marked by Alonso's tenacity, had one of its high points during the European Grand Prix, held in Valencia, in which Fernando achieved one of his most legendary victories. Starting from eleventh position, he was able to win a thrilling race not without difficulties.

At the end, the Spanish champion carried a Spanish flag throughout the circuit, this being the moment that we wanted to immortalize in the design of our socks.

Fernando himself, who burst into tears on the podium when he heard the Spanish anthem played in his honor, has acknowledged several times that this was one of the greatest victories of his career and one of the ones he cherishes the most.
